Wasting Away is a pretty self explanitory track, a song I felt I needed to get off my chest. About coming to terms with the lost time procrastininating and unfocused on work. The contrast of the meaning to the music is what makes it special to me. Its a fun, upbeat number, with lyrics that would actually suggest the opposite.

I wanna see things in a different light, forget the lies and all the sleepless nights. Take a deep breath and try to press rewind, it happens to the best of us from time to time.

If only things had always been so clear, no time to worry man I'd have no fear. And wouldnt care about mistakes I made, the times i got down on my knees and prayed, so you laugh and you cry as you start to live a lonely life.
